Summary

France condemned U.S. interference after the U.S. embassy in Paris warned French firms against using diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, citing a Trump executive order banning such initiatives.

The U.S. letter required companies to certify DEI non-compliance or risk jeopardizing U.S. contracts.

France’s trade ministry called the move “unacceptable,” vowing to defend national values and businesses.

French law prohibits race-based hiring metrics, focusing instead on gender and socioeconomic inclusion.

Of all the people in the world, the clown administration made the worst decision and chose the French to try to fuck with.

Then again, “making the worst decision” is on par with anything this administration did so far. Literally.

Just a reminder that France was one of the first countries to recognize the United States as a nation after the revolutionary war. They were also the first nation to join in our war on terror (for better or for worse) after the US triggered Article 5 of NATO.

Next to the UK, we are burning a faithful and powerful ally, all so Trump can continue to suck Putin’s dick.

      Edit: Corrected.

FTFY. There’s nothing good about Europe joining the war on terror.

Not just with the French, the same is happening all over Europe. I’ve heard from a first hand source that the US embassy in Finland has already canceled contracts with companies that refused the demand.
