    There should come a point where the world’s leadership understands that Trump will never work within the accepted rules … he will always grift for himself at the cost to others.

    I would argue we’ve arrived at that point and the EU should simply turn its back on Trump, leaving him out of all negotiations, present or future. He is not trustworthy or honest enough to work with.

      Trump is one thing, but I’m really shocked at how easily he could exploit the system. I’m afraid this will be possible for future presidents, so I’m not sure if we should just exclude Trump. The US has a lot of homework to do.

        All this was clear after Trumps first term. Honor system was gone and impeachment proved to be pointless. Nothing was done and gates were left open for fascists takeover.

      Kind of like dealing with a child, don’t reward attention seeking misbehaviour with attention, if they throw a tantrum don’t engage until they’ve had a chance to calm down. Rinse, repeat.
