Not what you asked for but if you are using uBlock Origin then you can go to

Settings > Filter lists > Import

and paste this URL into the Import field https://gitflic.ru/project/magnolia1234/bypass-paywalls-clean-filters/blob/raw?file=bpc-paywall-filter.txt (The repo has been bullied off official gitlab and github multiple times thats why its there now)

This is just a set of rules for blocking the code for paywalls on lots of websites including the one this article is on.
