According to a new report, Electronic Arts (EA) is nearing a deal that would see a sale of the company to investors and go private.

The report (paywalled) claims that investors include Silver Lake and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). This deal, according to the outlet’s sources, could be announced as soon as next week.

Yeah, looks like I’ll be permanently boycotting anything EA now.

    I suppose that’s true. The country is not well liked in Latin America either due to all the meddling they’ve done (which was not properly covered in US history classes).
