What you mean after spending $$$ on covering up the crowd booing the shit out of them for the last decade plus?

Even Graham Norton thought it was taking the piss this year. “I don’t know what you’re all hearing at home, but this is a very energetic reception”

Either Eurovision boycotts Pissrael or we continue our boycott of Eurovision as we’ve done for the last 2 years. They had no hesitation in giving Russia the boot in 2022 so the fact its taken them 2 years is indefensible. The only difference is the religion and skin colour of the people being slaughtered.

The fact that a vote is needed for this tells you how crooked the organization is and it gives you a glimpse of the outcome of the vote itself.

I mean, it says more about the influence of the Israeli lobby in Europe, which is apparent across all kinds of things.

I’m curious on the mental gymnastics involved in claiming that an organisation holding a vote to make a decision is somehow crooked. Like, that’s what democratic organisations are supposed to do, rather than acting without consultation.

It’s the mental gymnastics of emotional reactionism. The heart is in the right place, but they see an injustice and feel something needs to be done now.

When you watch Eurovision and especially the vote castings in the competitions, you’ll know why people can’t expect anything great from this…

A few years back they announced votes for some nations, based on what they expected them to vote, because they felt that the actual votes were suspicious… Without even saying that they were not the real votes sent in by those nations.

Then you have the viewer votes for the competitions that often get overturned by the expert panels

So Eurovisions calling for a vote is almost sarcasm
