The Israeli army killed a disabled Palestinian man in a targeted strike in southern Gaza at the end of May, claiming he was identified as a “terrorist.”

The man was seen in IDF drone footage from Khan Yunis walking with a limp before being struck by munitions launched from either a drone or a loitering munition.

The IDF confirmed the strike, stating that the man had been “identified as a terrorist observing troops and moving between buildings used for terrorist activity.”

An investigation by Haaretz revealed that the man killed was Muhammad al-Farra, an older civilian with cerebral palsy resulting from a childhood car accident. He walked with a limp and had special needs. His sister, Heba al-Farra, who survived the strike, identified him in the video.

That’s most Abrahamic religions for reference a beheaded Christian can’t go to heaven either.

That said the number one rule in Islamic burial is no cremation like… A bomb is incineration. It’s not a total bar but if you believe in such things you’d be having conversations trying to justify why you are the way you are. Getting disassembled is probably a pretty good excuse but still.

Yeah but afaik that’s just a rule for burying people, ie no mutilation. Death by dismemberment and explosion (or any post death mutilation) doesn’t disqualify you from heaven in any particular way in Islam.

Actually a lot of their famous leaders and scholars have been beheaded just because it’s the most straightforward way to kill someone with a sword.

Yes, though the way you are buried in Islam is extremely important. No, it’s an impediment to admission, like an incredibly hateful speed bump.

Depends on whom and when. Cromwell for example was exhumed, dismembered and displayed specifically to spite him. But yes In the middle ages if you were basically being given extra steps to get to heaven.
