A far-right pedophile since his concern is also that far-right speech would be “censored” (despite occupying a majority of media)

2·5 months agoI liked Before The Storm (although not as much as the ones made by Dontnod), but was really disappointed by The Expanse, and Double Exposure seems to be poorly received by fans, so I’m a bit worried if this one is once again made by Deck Nine

7·5 months agoThe remake is made by another studio, but I think they’ve been using Unreal Engine for all new projects
Edit: now that I think of it, if it’s the same studio, the Witcher 1 remake could be done as a DLC for TW3 (so indeed with the RedEngine)
Does it also have the horrible mandatory stealth and eavesdropping sections ?

1·7 months agoI don’t know about the last part (and why someone downvoted your comment), I feel like waiting too much between games only end up in disappointment, and different people working on the new one.
I’m pretty sure that a 30-hour Mass Effect 4 on Unreal Engine 3 and released in 2015 would have been better than Andromeda, and I have no hope for a future ME4 now.
I still trust CDPR, despite CP2077 marketing/PR release, and I don’t think they’ll follow the AC/CoD rhythm of one game every year (or even 2 years) for each franchise. With the right teams and management they could alternate between Cyberpunk (or a new IP after the second one) and The Witcher every 2 years

5·7 months agoI’m pretty sure that’s what they’re doing
4 years between TW1, TW2 and TW3, and it’s been 10 years since TW3 (not counting expansions and CP2077)
And with Cyberpunk 2077, they made something different

15·7 months agoTanking with shields (force/kinetic shields in sci-fi games, not physical shields)
I liked when games let you face-tank damage with your shield (like in Mass Effect, before Andromeda where they made shields weak af and even removed shield gating) and not having to care for healing (unless you lose all your shields)
I don’t know if it’s due to the souls-like trend, but it feels like game developers need to make punitive games nowadays

2·8 months agoAre the “minigames” not too tedious ? I love Telltale games, for the story. I really disliked when they tried to implement too much “active gameplay” like they did with the last season of The Walking Dead (which had more shooting / action sequence), or The Expanse that felts like a walking simulator with barely any story
Still glad they’re making a good comeback

I ended up using the auto-parry/block mod, but it means you’re practically invulnerable, you only need to do the jump and radiant attack counters
https://www.nexusmods.com/clairobscurexpedition33/mods/478
There’s also a mod to increase the block/parry “period”
https://www.nexusmods.com/clairobscurexpedition33/mods/28
I still hope there will be a mod to have the dodge/parry based on your stats (agility/luck), to feel like it’s a RPG and not a souls-like game
