Banner is a gender-swapped AI image of me. I don’t think it looks much like me, but I liked how it turned out.

I figured it would be like regular EQ is now, F2P with perks if you subscribe.

So an official server of pre-Kunark EQ designed to be soloable for a subscription fee? I’m sure there are plenty of people who would be willing to to pay a sub for that, but even as a big fan of old-school EQ, I’m not one of them.

buy a Steam Deck
Yeah, not really an option now, unless you want to pay scalper prices.

Same boat. Nintendo fan since the NES, this is the first one I don’t want to buy (I even had a Virtual Boy, although I got it cheap on clearance). The quality of their games has dropped while the cost of their games and hardware have gone up. I’m sure I’ll play the good games they release that I missed eventually, whether via emulation or a cheap used one MANY years from now.

The smaller form factor and better battery life are advantages, but the small screen isn’t great for my old eyes.

I got a PSP in 2012 when I found out how easy they were to jailbreak. It was great, but my Steam Deck made it obsolete. I gave it away.

Don’t be sorry, he was a POS and a bad actor.

I made that the default on my computer at home so I wouldn’t get into the bad habit of using the AI response. It still shows up on the computer at work and I have to remind myself not to believe what it says.

Crimson Desert (on PS5). The reviews are very mixed, mostly because the game does not hold your hand. I’m not a fan of hard games, but I am a fan of exploration, so I’m hoping that when I inevitably hit a brick wall boss I can just wander around doing other things until I’m upgraded enough to be able to take them on. Puttering around exploring open worlds is usually my favorite part.
Then a Marvel Heroes Omega private server goes live on the 20th, so I’ll be playing that as well for the first time since it shut down in 2018.
Not to me, but clearly a lot of people liked it.

Ah, I didn’t know about the others! Slim pickins like the PS5, although that has a few that are notably pretty good.

Are there any XBOX One games that aren’t also on PC? Steam Deck can already run most of those.
I guess there’s Rare Replay, but all of those game are already playable on the Steam Deck individually.

Because speeding up is a lot more difficult than slowing down. You’re coming across as kind of a jerk to your wife!

“Do you guys not have two GPUs?”

Why not just slow down and match her pace?
