  • Well sure. Trump literally does not care about the truth value of any word-like sounds that squirt from his facial sphincter. The algorithm running through his toupee support system works like this:

    1. Is it something the idiots who support me will buy, at least long enough for me to come up with the next distraction? (Y/N)
    2. If Y, say it. Say it a lot. Say it everywhere and anywhere.
    3. If N, accuse everyone else of saying it.

That’s it. Whether it has any relationship to the truth, good or bad, never enters into it. He’s not even as honest as a liar, because a liar has to at least care what the truth is. He truly, genuinely doesn’t.

  • Do you think Israel should be destroyed?

Edit: Interesting. No one is willing to say “no.”

Here’s the thing: What Joe Biden tried (and yes, failed, because Netanyahu is a corrupt madman) to do was simultaneously support Israel’s right to exist and defend itself, and do what he could to minimize damage to Gaza.

Now we have a “president” who will gleefully help Netanyahu destroy Gaza entirely and take over the land. You’ve gone from someone whose friendship to Palestine was tepid to someone who actively wants it destroyed.

    This isn’t an upgrade.

  • That’s not an answer, and I’m not “carrying water for genocide financiers.” I never once excused or denied Israel’s behavior. Netanyahu responded to a horrendous terrorist attack by turning the dials on “horrendous” and “terror” up to 11. He’s a monster and a war criminal and should spend the rest of his life in prison.

Now then, how would you do it? Put yourself in the president’s shoes. You need to come up with a solution that allows Israel to continue to exist and not be destroyed by, say, Iran… AND allows the Palestinians to survive. Cut off all weapons, goodbye Israel. Give Israel a blank check, goodbye Palestine. What do you try to do?

  • I only ever use Windows on my work computer, and only when I need access to a resource that requires our Windows-only VPN.

But seriously, “just use linux” is worthless advice. Lots of people use Windows for specific applications that don’t exist in the Linux ecosystem. For example, there are no Linux applications that come close to AutoCAD, and it simply doesn’t work on Linux.

Better advice would be to get new (or newer used) hardware if possible, if you absolutely need to use Windows, since this workaround will inevitably be “corrected” by Microsoft. Then you can do whatever you like with the old hardware, such as install and learn Linux at your own pace.
