If I was looking to describe a kind of game, I would not use “progression based” to describe a game where you start from zero every time. I’m well aware that many rogue likes have permanent unlocks which facilitate progression, but then I’m back to my original point in that is not a very helpful descriptor because almost every game is progression based in that sense.
Stardew Valley.
Honestly I want suggest a fair few but I have difficulty grasping what you mean by progression based on your examples. I would argue nearly all games, ever, are “progression based”.
I hope Canada can get some better prices out of this.
Sounds like they modify the game.
Kinda in between the two tbh.
Included in the game. Deluxe edition adds new horse armours (among a few other things).
Every publication I’ve read says the DLCs are all included in the base game. Deluxe adds new cosmetics, OST, and an art book.
Yes and no. All original dlc is included in the base game, including the infamous horse armour.
The Deluxe Edition adds art book, OST, and some new weapon, armours, and yes horse armours not in the original game.
Looks amazing, definitely gonna pick this up.
Edited to add further thoughts
Having a deluxe edition of a remaster feels bad, though I don’t completely begrudge them. It was still a lot of work, time, and effort to do this.
I kinda love releases like this with no build up. I know that this was leaked but I mean compared to six years of announcement to release, I much prefer this kind of shadow drop.
What is femme about Wyll, Halsin, or Minsc? What is butch about Shadowheart, or Minthara?
Also, did you consider that losing a battle meant you should consider alternative tactics?
I am not a huge fan of the game for the record.
I understand Virtuous did the remaster.
Aaand wish listed. Thanks!

I admit this is less of a concern to me because I don’t do a lot of modding, but I can definitely understand that disappointment for those that do. With a different engine, though, I do hope it will be less buggy.
My partner is a graphic designer and although she undeniably had some growing pains switching away from Adobe, she hasn’t looked back.
I really admire the work of the Skyblivion crew, as well as the ones remaking Morrowind, but I’m not quite as cynical as you regarding the official. As I said, I think the studio has handled some good remasters in the past and I think it will be done well.
I mean, it’s not like the Steam deck was the first device that could suspend games.
