The US uses its operations to test out kit as well. Desert Storm was especially useful in that regard as there was plenty of time in the build up. Could it be the pesky Chinese and Russians are doing the same. Uncle Sam may come away with a bloody nose unless this is resolved quickly.

That web page is a nightmare.

In other news. Military people do military things.

Well yes, so the taxpayer will subsidise everyone’s electric bill to pay the extortionate rate that was agreed upon.
The way China is going it could soon be so cheap that people will only pay a standing charge, and the electricity could actually be free. Like they promised with nuclear in the 60s.

How does this affect those nuclear deals where the price has been guaranteed for many years? We have a couple in UK. One of which isn’t even open yet. The price per KWh was set before it was built.
It would be deliciously ironic if solar ended up subsidising mothballed nuclear plants.

Get an external drive. You can then have as much as you want. And more importantly you’ll have backups.

I keep seeing things like this, then an item on the news that says sales in Spain are up.
It’s not all good news.

I know people don’t like Windows 11, but that’s a bit much.

Right, I make that (using the lowest figure) over 40 launches per month, every month for the 2 years. Anyone who thinks that is plausible is a tad optimistic.

From the article:
'The aircraft’s most notable capability is its ability to deploy large-scale drone swarms mid-flight, potentially overwhelming enemy defenses by sheer volume and unpredictability. State-released video footage simulated the dramatic visual of a synchronized UAV launch sequence.
Drone swarms offer strategic advantages in surveillance, intelligence gathering, and real-time reconnaissance, particularly in contested regions such as the Taiwan Strait. Analysts warn that such a capability could play a central role in a future conflict scenario between China and Taiwan.
In addition to drone launches, the Jiu Tan can also be equipped with cruise missiles and air-to-air weapons like the PL-12E, further expanding its offensive potential.’
A big difference.

Exactly, we shouldn’t even be at this point. Russia should be a windswept wasteland.

Oh I don’t doubt people were killed.
It’s just describing them as being martyred puts a bias on the article. I’m inclined to see it as a.propoganda piece.
The whole thing is bad enough as it is without stirring up religious hatred even more.

I’m always wary when an article tells you that people have been ‘martyred’ when describing casualties on one side but not the other.
They’ve usually got an agenda to push and numbers will be exaggerated and not always the truth.

So he has the concept of a plan.
The plan itself he’ll make up half an hour before it’s due, and then spout off about how everyone agrees it’s the best plan ever. The fact that they knew sod all about it, is neither here nor there. It’ll give Trump a few more hours of air time, because that’s what he wants, to be the main news event every day.
What a tool.

So leave it then. Find an alternative.
Try Pixelfed. No ads there.
Aha! For some reason ublock or switched off. Thanks.
