Intensely ridiculous idea.

Intensely ridiculous idea.

Well, I’m intrigued: Anyone play this yet?

Gliding is definitely my favorite, but that about sums it up. Still, I hope it gets a sequel or an expansion or something.

A Short Hike was fantastic! I don’t know that it necessarily lends itself to screwing around though.
On a semi-related note, Donut Country is also a lot of fun.

Games I’ve enjoyed in terms of shenanigans:
-GTA 3-5
-Just Cause 3 (4 too, but it’s not as good)
-Untitled Goose Game
-BOTW
-Read Dead Redemption 2
-Saint’s Row 2-4
-Cyberpunk 2077 (driving is kinda meh, motorcycles are a little more fun)
-Watchdogs
-Elder Scrolls
-Teardown
Also, I haven’t played it, but I heard the new Indiana Jones game is fun with high shenanigan potential.

I’ve played this: If you liked Vampire Survivors, you’ll probably also like this one.

Probably Vampire Survivors or Vampire Hunters: Sometimes it’s just nice to play something where you don’t really have to think too hard.

That would probably require some modifications…

Yeah, but you can though. Go spec your own gaming rig if you don’t believe me.
Also, again, there’s pretty much no way it’ll be $1,000.

Less than $1,000? Yes, why not? We’ll see what the price actually is, but I doubt it’ll be anywhere near that high. Valve was pretty smart about sourcing their parts for low cost and decent performance. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were closer to $500 even.

At $1,000 that’d be a hard pass for me even though I love Valve, I could easily build something better for less. I seriously doubt that’ll be the price too, it’ll probably around $600-800.

Hey, those are on my list too!

Damn, I should really go back and play this. Bet it runs great on Steam Deck too!

Absolute morons!

So you can tell people you use Arch btw

Yep, on phones and other mobile devices, lower resolutions help significantly with battery life and framerates. Tiny super high resolution displays are pretty much pointless unless you’re using a VR headset (then the resolution matters more).

Well, the thing is the 1080 on the 4k projector still looks a little better than it does on a native 1080 because it upscales with pixel shifting. It doesn’t look as sharp as 4k, but still a bit better than 1080 (at least from ~10’ at 120").

Pixel shifting is for when it upscales, isn’t it? If you have a 4k source, you’ll get a 4k picture from what I read about this series.
That said, 1080p upscaled definitely still looks better compared to the old projector (though the newer one is also brighter, which also helps).
I won’t care if the game is bad: Don’t fuck this up Todd!
