Hm could be that. Though I vaguely remember he checked the Spotify quality setting before going on Youtube
Just the other day I was listening to the new Linkin Park album on Spotify in a car with a friend (no fancy speaker system)
We both thought it sounded kinda low quality so we switched to youtube and the improvement was instantly noticable to us. Spotify just sucks. At least if you are used to HQ audio

2·2 months agoHm this part of the log doesn’t look like the error. Those messages usually show up after the process has crashed. If there is nothing that looks like it’s gamecrash related to you further above in the log, type
sudo dmesg --followin a terminal. This display the logs of all device drivers on a kernel level. While that is open, start the game and wait for it to freeze and see if any errors show up.Also, if you post log messages again please put them in a
codeblockby typing it like this:

Should be more readable. If the log is rather long just put it into a pastebin or some other text sharing service.
I don’t think we have any of those things Linux, that’s why we’re there. Except file indexing, but I only know of Baloo which is annoying if you’re on KDE. But i can be easily turned off
What kind of an error do you get when the game crashes if you start steam from the terminal?
I wouldn’t recommend Mint if you plan on gaming on it all. It has of lot of older packages from what I’ve heard.
Bazzite and CachyOS are also worth looking into
I personally like the UI a bit more. Other than that I think not much. Haven’t used CoreCtrl much
