If nobody changes US or European support I think Ukraine will win eventually.

But that’s a big if. As Russia gets closer to collapse they will make noises about peace and cease fires and try to hold what they have, and pushing them off where they are entrenched will be more difficult. Ukraine can do it, given time, and money, and In the short term, military equipment.

This is evidence that the white house is riddled with Russian plants/propaganda not that the reality on the front is worse for Ukraine than we thought.

We always knew it was bad. It has never been good for Ukraine. If it ever gets good for Ukraine you will see Russians retreating. Nobody knows where that point is, but they are almost certainly closer today than they were a year ago.

They don’t want poc or women to be career.

They want women pregnant, so they are “safe” in that sense. They want white officers commanding brown conscripts to go do the dying.

Russia has a larger army than any European country. Only Ukraine comes close, and they have veterancy only rivaled by the US and Ukraine.

A few thousand soldiers that are very well equipped might lose to 10x as many badly equipped enemies.

Given the reports coming out of the detention camps: yes.

There is nothing standing in the way of anything else. They can disappear you, your parents, your children, and your friends. They can send you to a work camp in El Salvador and there is nothing anyone can do for you once you are there.

Keep tabs on your loved ones. Have a plan for if the gestapo shows up at your home. If you can leave, it’s time to strongly consider it. This is the equivalent to somewhere from 1933 to 1936. Basically no one in the camps from those years survived to VE day.

They are terrified. The US got Texas with great replacement in the 1840’s. White people came legally at first and then streamed across the border overwhelming the natives and Mexicans and they brought slaves and when Mexico told them slavery is illegal they declared the Texas revolution and more white Americans came to help fight it (including Davy Crockett) and they won and a few years later the US annexed Mexico

This would work in the US on the coasts and in the cities.

Even the eastern parts of the west coast states the math gets bad. Running cables over/mountains to service the poorest 10% of the states population.

Getting into the square states you have 10s of thousands of miles of mountains and deserts to get to a vanishing small number of people. There are twice as many people in my city as there are in the entire state of Wyoming and we are the third largest city in Texas.

Are you really going to run cables all over an area of the alps but the size of France to bring service to a number of people equivalent to one midsize city? Most of it is protected national Park people don’t even live in.

Most of Nevada is uninhabited desert with some of the hottest temperatures on earth.

We can leave half of Texas empty and still have service for 95% of the population.

It’s not as simple as “just do it” over here. We have huge problems, but the challenges are legit.
