I was using Mint for a while with my 10 year old PC build that was crashing all the time then I upgraded my system and Mint didn’t have support for my newer video card so I moved to Nobara.

I haven’t had to use the terminal at all since. I run the update system program every few days but I’m sure it could be automated without needing a password but I like seeing what is being updated so I keep it manual.

It has much more support for games than Mint seems to have had. I could use the terminal if I wanted to but it hasn’t been needed which is how I want it, available but unnecessary.

My PC had been randomly crashing for a year. I finally decided to replace all the guts in my tower. It was definitely not cheap but I can’t imagine trying to buy the same parts now.

My computer was crashing constantly, never figured out what it was but I switched over to Linux Mint to see if it was something to do with the software and hardware having an issue since I couldn’t find a hardware only issue.

I liked the environment but was still having crashes. So I upgraded MoBo, GPU, CPU, RAM, PSU, HDD and installed Mint again. It didn’t work out because Mint didn’t have driver support for my newer GPU so I changed over to Nobara and it is very good.

I installed it on a partition along side windows 10.

I installed openrazer to control my keyboard and the next time I loaded it up only the number keys worked.

I’m not sure what my next steps will be but I’m enjoying it other than this issue, it reminds me of the good old DOS days back when I was a kid.
