Shadows is honestly the most fun i’ve had with an AC game in the longest time. The stealth is so much fun to pull of, it makes me feel like i’m back in Unity
JC3 is fun to just spend hours dicking around in, or seriously investing it with the gameplay. It’s honestly amazing how good of a game they made around the concept of “blow up some shit, and then blow up some more shit”
There’s a hairdryer? I’ll have to keep an eye out for one because if it gets louder than the Air Horn i’d love to have it lol
I just cropped it too cut out people’s usernames lol
i’ve considered taking a break a few times or just “freezing” the day count, not because of burn out or anything but because i was just unsure if i could work with my schedule lol. I’m hesitent to take a break though because it kind of feel disingenuous and I’ve ended up working around my schedule each time. If i were to take a planned break though, i think a year would be the perfect point to do it
Without spoilers, i’m really enjoying it. It simplified the lengthy RPG mechanics the older games had, and the story is a major improvement imo. Stealth is also way more prevalent here (but if you preferred the Valhalla route of combat mainly you can do that too). Parkour is awesome too, but the wilderness could use some work. It still inherits a few flaws from the RPG titles, but it’s very much a return to form for the franchise
someone the other day suggested removing it because by day 250 something the chances i forgot would be slim. I was initially hesitant to do it, but ended up doing it just because it’s a lot better of a title. The rules are very much still “Until i forget”
It’s a lot of fun. It retains a bit from the other RPG titles but fixes a lot from it too, especially with the Assassin part of it. I really hope Ubisoft takes this and actually gives it’s planned sequals some time instead of just going straight to releasing another game a year or two later.
It’s a bit of the same, it returns a lot closer to the older AC Games though. For example, a lot of the mythology aspect is removed, and the side quests are a lot closer to the older Assassination Missions. It still uses the framework from the RPG games though (though it’s been heavily simplified from the tree that Valhalla had)
What’s the difficulty level of Black Mesa? I played the OG Half Life a few years ago and struggled a bit with it
I could only read a little bit until the site cut me off asking for a subscription, but this seems great. I would still majorly prefer if it was public, but even if it’s preserved somewhere the chances of it becoming lost become a lot lower
Damn, i didn’t realize they closed. Aren’t they the studio that made the Middle Earth games? I loved those, they were like AC met Tolkien, shame we may never get another
The world could always use more fishing games
Damn, i can’t imagine playing solo. I struggle just playing with two people sometimes. Major respect to you
The game can be brutal. I think my friend who hosts backs up the save every quota just in case, we’ve never had to use the backup for this save yet though (we’re about 4-5 quotas in i think?)
I just looked it up. It looks interesting. I’ve had some people recommend me REPO when talking about LC, but never Murky Divers. I’ll have to pick them both up at some point
I probably could lol. At this point i only keep it for consistency. It’d bother me just lobbing that bit off after 257 days
One of my friends that i played with has been wanting me to get it. I plan too at some point but i’ve seen some fun things about it
I came across a shrine today with a ton of cats, and ended up doing the exact same thing with my cats. The both of them sat on my lap will i pet them
It looks fun, i feel like the roster is really starting to get bloated though if we’ve reached the point where a dead fish and cow were needed to be made into characters just to meet the roster quota
