I just want them to be smaller.
I just want them to be smaller.
Sceptre still makes TVs that are just that, no underlying smart OS
I’m fine with reasonable ads. Plex Live TV has ads that don’t always get caught by NextDNS for me and it’s always some local business and like 30 seconds, NBD it’s a free service and needs to operate somehow and I’m not aware of any major privacy breaches from Plex. I feel the same way about YT video sponsor segments, they don’t always get caught by ReVanced, also, NBD the creator also needs to get paid for their work.
Also multiple SD cards, swapping out frequently so even if they grash the camera you still have something.
Honestly, it would be kind of funny that your phone calls emergency services when you get pulled over and you don’t want them to force you to unlock your phone, having a 911 operator recording the entire interaction’s audio.
Side note, leave the burner in a Faraday bag when it’s going to be near your daily driver.
Isn’t that Proton’s tagline?
I liked Little Brother. Didn’t get into Homeland as much though.
The only thing I’ll tack onto this is that with the introduction of Signal usernames, you still have to give Signal your number to verify that at least on some level, you probably are a real person. As someone with 5 different phone numbers, probably doesn’t stop spam as much as they’d hoped, but more than they feared, but at least now you don’t have to give that Craigslist guy who uses Signal your phone number, just your username. Is that the best method? I dunno, but but it is something.
What is this profile siloing you speak of?
I tried Opera GX because it advertised the ability limit RAM consumption, and then I found out that the lowest it could go was 1GB which was not as low as I wanted.
Ah the ol’ Kingsmen ending.
This is where I’m at. The Framework guy was talking about how very few companies are using this AMD deal because the R&D to add it to existing models wasn’t very viable, you really only have the Asus Z13 so I feel like being ahead of the game there will be a benefit in the long run as far as their relationship with AMD. Plus they’re also doing a 12-in laptop now as well, so it’s not like they committed all their resources to this.
As someone earlier mentioned, unihertz has a few models with physical keyboards.
I know it needs to maintain the Wiki name for branding purposes, but WikTok meshes better.
Not really a work around, but you could get a VOIP number from MySudo or Hushed or a similar service and use that to sign up for Signal. Might at least be more private if you go about it with like a prepaid card and temp email or something.
I could go for like <5 in to be honest.
