6·1 month agoBazzite steam mode is functionally identical to steam os, and in my experience I haven’t had to fuck around with any game. Got Spiderman, GTA 5 and Cyberpunk working (as well as they can considering the hardware) working by just downloading them.
Its pretty much steam os but based on fedora immutable. I like it a lot, especially in desktop mode where the KDE version is more current.

132·1 month agoWhats wrong with https://bazzite.gg/ it even has dev-mode switch so you run docker and other dev apps
Newbies should just install Ubuntu.
It works and is well supported. Year later go distrohopping.
That’s what I suggest anyway.


I just found out today due to work needs that Vimeo already does this.
TBH I didnt know Vimeo was anything like this.
