Games@lemmy.world•Why Everyone’s Picking Up a PSP Again in 2026 (my article!)English
2·6 months agoI was looking for a handheld and seriously looked at the PSP. looked at all the mods for it. even found one where you could stick a RP4 compute board inside for the guts.
finally settled on a retroid pocket 5 and honestly couldn’t be happier. it does everything I want and then some.

1·6 months agoyeah…unfortunately I got paid the same regardless. I did directly benefit from a bonus schedule though, and made the highest bonuses in company history (other than the CEO).
then they took away bonuses. then failed to deliver on raises. then took away vacation time. then took away healthcare coverage for a cheaper carrier. then they made AI usage a performance indicator.
so yeah. they made the entire work environment toxic.
frankly the only thing keeping me around is the 2-3 hour workload.
god bless private equity investment!

6·6 months agoI’m all for this…but why go after a single man who used a tool premade to do the theft, when they could also go after the dozens of AI companies out there that are literally stealing IP to sell to consumers.

it’s not hard to install if you have a phone that follows stringent standards, that only 30% of manufacturers follow…

45·6 months agomandatory age verifications on the OS isn’t a viable economic decision either, but that’s not stopping Media Matters and Meta from forcing their shitty anti-privacy policies on citizens.

8·6 months agodidn’t forget. you have to learn something in order to forget it.
the fact that as soon as there was a vaccine all corporate interests aligned and forced a return to office mandate should be enough to show that nothing was learned…well…at least nothing that valuable.
however, those of us who were paying attention learned something just as valuable.
you don’t matter.
it’s freeing frankly. I stopped putting in 16-20 hour days. now I only put in 2-3 hours of actual work and fill the rest with hobby projects.

11·6 months agowhere’s the proof?
shows proof
not good enough!
I have a feeling I could find whatever “proof” you’re looking for and you would still reject it because you refuse to admit that there were (are) Free Palestine supporters who echoed MAGA bullshit to redirect votes away from Harris in some foolish hope that those votes would go to independent candidates.
