I used a save game modifier to unlock the cool stuff hidden behind the grind. Since then I spent some time building a base in a nice looking planet and flying around looking for a cool world.
Thing is, you are right: it gets old fast. Planets are boring. There are some cool combinations here and there, but 90% of them are just the same old same old. Seen them once, seen them all.
From time to time i still hop in, but it doesn’t grab me more than a couple of hours every six months or so.

In addition, illegal immigrants that spend their dollars on the local economy, pay taxes without taking from the social security pots and do low wage jobs locals don’t want to do also make a country great.

Linux@programming.dev•Steam data reveals PC gamers shifting from Windows to Linux
5·3 months agoIt does, like any good relationship, need some work. I have been using Mint as my main driver for the last couple of months, and even being a beginner friendly Linux it still needed some time to learn and google around. Now that it’s set up i haven’t run into anything for a long while.

Contrary to the earlier notion that addiction is predominantly a substance dependency, research now suggests that any source or experience capable of stimulating an individual has addictive potential. This has led to a paradigm shift in the psychiatric understanding of behavioural addictions. These can refer to a range of behaviors such as gambling, video gaming, and sexual practices. Hypersexual behavior and pornography addiction come to the fore when the behavior becomes intensive, out of the individual’s control, and persists in that pattern despite harmful consequences and risk of harm to one’s emotional and/or physical health.

I don’t feel that I have the skill to set a server up, but what you describe does sound interesting and I will look into it.

Havnt had a single issue with games so far, besides some very minor hick ups that were resolved easily. Than again, im lucky that the game so play have been supported so far.

I have two areas where i foud it a somewhat nice to have tool:
Using stable diffusion to make avatars for roleplaying characters, as i simply can not draw shit.
Having my Rimworld characters talk to each other.
I use local models for both of those.
I don’t want it in OS, in my search results and most defnetly not in my work or studies.
