Why rent? If you have fiber and aren’t behind CGNAT you can host from your home
5TB requires you to be a company??? My personal NAS already has 92TB
Most manufacturers only list average power draw, but in HDR mode you can get much higher peak power useage.
This website also lists peak power draw for many TVs, in this example the Bravia 9 85 inch has a peak of 380W

Your research would be incorrect
Gigantic 80" screens generally draw something like 120W
In HDR mode they can draw a lot more than that for short peaks
You just happened to work in a tourist area that is above the budget of most of our worst offenders (sorry if this sounds classist, it’s absolutely not meant that way)
How could they be reclaimed? They are owned by somebody who legally owns them. Unless the owner is found guilty of something that entitles the government to take possession then there’s no legal way to do that.
Keep in mind this article is about Teslas in Germany, where expropriation is legal if a judge deems it to be for the greater good. But that’s only really possible in theory and thus far doesn’t happen in practice

I avoid them as much as possible purely because their in-house logistics company recently started doing their deliveries here instead of DHL, and they are absolutely terrible. Delivery times range from 7 AM to 9 PM and they just leave the package in front of your door without even ringing the doorbell
Not for me, 40€ toner cartridge gets me 10k pages, already have over 80k pages printed so the printer paid itself multiple times compared to a copyshop
Well, with low-end gpus (like the integrated APU in the Steam Deck) there is still competition. The main reason high-end gpus are so expensive is that there are no alternatives to Nvidia, so they can ask for any price they want
It’s pretty easy to jailbreak a Kindle and block firmware updates. But the fact that it is necessary in the first place sucks
Turning the existing reactors back on is not an option anymore, they are already being dismantled. Building new ones would not be worth it when investing in renewables is cheaper
Despite no longer sticking to the DIN standard, and climate controls being integrated into the infotainment system, there still exists a big market for aftermarket infotaiment systems, they just have to be engineered for the specific make of car you have. But they can be bought for most cars that have infotaiment systems that are now outdated
Well, there has to be some kind of algorithm. Even picking a random Wikipedia article technically is an algorithm, just not one that adapts to the user
Are you blocked from installing browser extensions?
There was also a big outage on 2014 when Sony got DDOSed by Lizardsquad. So maybe you are remembering that one and don’t need to feel quite so old
There are actually 2tb microSD cards now, and 4tb flash drives
