According to the text of the message published by Kurdish sites on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Zainab said that her group was under attack by large numbers of what she described as “gangs,” and that they faced the attacks with various means, before their ammunition ran out, indicating that they were forced to use what remained with caution.

She added that she and her comrades received calls to surrender, but she confirmed their refusal, saying they would continue fighting until their last breath.

The message included an announcement of the intention to carry out an operation described as “sacrificial”( suicide bomb) in case the ammunition completely ran out, emphasizing that what she considered “protecting the dignity of the people” takes precedence over any other consideration.
