It’s surrounded by big oceans and militarily weak neighbors. A naval invasion of the USA is basically impossible.
The USA can do whatever they want in all countries in the Americas. Not even a worldwide coalition could stop that.
The USA could invade and annex Mexico and Canada quite easily.
The USA can also afford to intervene military across the globe, get stuck in a quagmire for years, and it doesn’t endanger their control over their own country.
