    I get what you’re saying and agree in some ways. But, I shared an apartment with a friend, we argued about ‘I have nothing to hide’ . he went away for a few days and I removed the (shared) bathroom door.

    When he got back

    > hey, where’s the door?

    > I thought you had nothing to hide?

    > I just want a little privacy…

      that bathroom door analogy is brilliant - privacy isnt about hiding crimes, its a basic human need just like we need doors on our bathrooms and passwords on our accounts.

        Yeah, it’s not about doing anything illegal. It’s just that I feel like people should be able to do things that aren’t public.

        The comment I was replying to is of the opinion that no one should post about negative aspects of privacy.

        I don’t believe that.
