I mean when it comes to bad takes these days, it’s not the worst take I’ve ever seen. It’s not like they are rolling back every decision they ever made just to appease Trump like every other tech company. I’ll just wait and see what they actually do vs sharing one of their opinions out of many. Go back 5ish years and this post by them wouldn’t have even caused an outrage.

Still not stoked about this either, just to be clear. I’m just trying not to jump to conclusions.

What happens when you polish a turd?

Oh, yeah, you get that pandering word vomit of an “articulated” position.

Any American who thinks they have a hero in Washington has been had. As the great George Carlin said, “It’s a big club, but you ain’t in it.”

You don’t have to switch services based on political affiliation. If the only difference is whether or not the company is public about it, there should be no issues with the software itself. It makes it far less exhausting to use a service. Just my two cents.

I prefer my Nazis to be hiding in fear. Not making public pronouncements of support for the Nazi party. I will continue to drop services that endorse a political affiliation that doesn’t regard me as human.
