The argument, as I understand it, is that Israel is just a normal small country like any other small country, and any special focus on it suggests a sinister desire to single out Jews for discrimination.
But have you ever noticed how the same people who accuse Israel’s critics of “obsession” with a tiny insignificant country will also fall all over themselves to tell you that Israel is an indispensable ally whose interests are inextricably intertwined with the interests of western civilization?

Israel is imperialism live and in color. If someone doesnt support the genocide Israel leads, they are automatically against the concept of the western world.
The question that Nazis hoped that people would forget is ‘why are Nazis so hated?’ The answer is they wanted to do to Europe what the Zionists want to do to the Middle East. But Europeans were white (at least to us now) so it was seen as particularly evil.
Mussolini and the fascists in Italy were jokes. Imperial Japan was as evil as the Nazis but people forget that for some reason.

Conflating the actions of the Israeli government with Jewish people as a whole sounds pretty antisemitic to me.
